Claire Grieve Inspires Us With Yoga and Meditation

Share your story of how your brand came to be

My work in yoga and wellness started with my own health journey. 10 years ago I was reliant on anti-depressants, sugar and coffee. I was experiencing prolonged stomach issues, headaches, joint pain, foggy brain and more. I was struggling with food allergies that were causing constant bloating and inflammation. Today, I feel better than I ever have. I discovered yoga through a laid back class in LA and was hooked. As my practice expanded, my unhealthy habits disappeared and I began to experience an amazing transformation that included: weight loss, a clearer head, positive moods, more energy, less joint muscles pain, better digestive function and better sleep. I wanted to share the incredible health that I discovered with the world, so I underwent extensive yoga training with some of the world’s top yogis and also became a certified health coach. Today I work with a number of I celebrities, professional athletes, fitness leaders and people of all genders, professions, shapes and sizes. My work has been featured in Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Shape, Women’s Health and more.

What does beauty mean to you?

To me, beauty comes from being truly confident in your own skin and having radiant energy from the inside out.

What are you daily beauty rituals?

I keep it simple. I believe that true beauty comes from the inside. In my opinion, the most important thing you can do is nourish your body with fresh fruits and vegetables and stay hydrated. I start each day with a large warm water and lemon, which kicks starts my digestion and keeps my skin hydrated. I love drinking green smoothies that are full of nourishing plant foods. Meditation and sleep are really important to keep stress and it’s detrimental effects at bay. I meditate daily and shoot for 8-9 hours of sleep each night. I also take a relaxing epsom salt bath every single day, during which I body brush for lymphatic drainage. Finally, I exfoliate , cleanse, tone and moisturize with good quality natural products both morning and evening.

What current projects are you working on?

I just released my first e-book which I’m really excited about. ENERGIZE is 96 pages of yoga flows, meditations, plant-based recipes and self-care tips to help you find vibrant energy, naturally.
