A true beauty, inside and out, Britt Martin dedicates her time to working at a senior living community focusing on their wellness + lifestyle programming. A holistic nutritionist, certified yoga instructor and previous panelist at the LBWF, Britt also teaches her Fit Britt Nutrition clients how to eat based on their own individual body's needs and a food philosophy that focuses on eating nourishing SOUL {seasonal + organic + unprocessed + local} foods.
What is your passion?
Getting to help and inspire people to live healthier, more mindful lives.
What is your definition of wellness?
Wellness is nourishing not only your body, but mind and spirit as well. All on a regular and consistent basis.
What are some of your essential wellness protocols?
Staying hydrated, reading, spending time in nature on a regular basis, making each meal I have as nutrient dense as possible, daily shots of apple cider vinegar and starting my days with yoga and pranayama .
Will you share one of your favorite recipes with us?
My Classic FBN green smoothie, hands down.
1 cup cashew or oat milk
1/2 frozen banana
2 tbsp almond butter
1/2 cucumber
BIG handful of spinach
1 date
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
1 tbsp. ground flaxseeds
Sprinkling of ashwagandha, lion’s mane mushrooms, lots of cinnamon, pink sea salt
A few ice cubes
Sometimes I add matcha powder and turmeric to this.
One of your favorite snacks?
B’s bliss balls that I make weekly in flavors like carrot cake, cacao brownie batter, oatmeal walnut chocolate chip cookie, and cookie dough.
Do you have any clean beauty brands you love right now?
@OseaMalibu and @ulivskincare are my favorite skin care lines. They’re magical.
Favorite beauty ritual?
Tongue scraping and flossing, I’m borderline obsessed with flossing. I think it is underrated. And getting 8 hours of sleep on a regular basis. That’s what works best for my body and I love waking up feeling well rested and ready for my day.
How do you manage stress?
By getting outside with Mother Nature, journaling, taking @tonic_cbd OG CBD oil and regularly incorporating ashwagandha powder into my lifestyle
Favorite song(s) and book(s) right now?
Oh, I’ve been on a weeknd kick for quite a while. His latest album is stellar. I’m also really loving Gajumaru by Yaima for all the yoga/feel good vibes- it speaks to the soul.
As far as books, I recently read Paulo Coelho’s By The River Piedra I sat and wept and couldn’t put it down. And for some daily insight I enjoy reading passages from both:

What did you enjoy about the Love Beauty Wellness Festival?
Being introduced to new, amazing wellness brands/companies and seeing as a community, how many people are passionate and conscious about their health and wanting to feel their best!
